Our story
From university start-up to projection technology specialist
VIOSO began with a simple but ambitious idea: make projection possible on any surface. That technical foundation led to camera-based automatic alignment, a long-term focus on professional AV and a wider portfolio spanning software, servers and services.

Startup recognition
The company was awarded Multimedia Company Startup of the Year.

Patents and venture backing
Strategic patents were secured and venture capital financing supported the next phase of development.

Strategic focus on Pro AV
VIOSO shifted its focus towards the B2B and professional AV market.
2020
Management buyout
A management buyout marked a new chapter for the company, with investors exiting except one institutional investor.
2023
domeprojection acquisition
VIOSO acquired domeprojection, creating a dedicated simulation brand and strengthening the group’s position in flight, driving and research simulation.
